I applied for an apartment at this property and left a $250 holding deposit based on the staff’s assurance that our application would be submitted within a certain timeframe. After that, communication completely stopped. I sent two follow-up emails over three weeks with no response. My partner called multiple times and was told someone would get back to us — no one ever did. When my partner finally showed up in person, we were told our application had been denied due to new ownership — something we were never informed of. To make matters worse, we were falsely told that we agreed to apply on July 30, which is completely untrue since we came in mid-June for a reason. Now they’re refusing to refund the deposit, despite the fact that we were denied due to internal changes on their end and were never notified. Under California law, a landlord cannot keep a deposit in this kind of situation. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. I would strongly caution anyone considering this property — the management is disorganized, unresponsive, and not transparent. Do not trust them with your time or money.

Apartment staff refuse to upgrade the very outdated internet infrastructure in this complex. There is ATT Fiber internet already established right across the street but management is too lazy to go through with the process of getting better internet installed on the premises. The best you can get here is 50Mbps down 10Mbps up through a DSL connection. That is absolutely unacceptable for 2024 standards.

I refused to believe what the bad comments about the manager say until I went to get information about the apartments and indeed, she is a lady who is not friendly, speaks with annoyance and the truth is that I no longer want to apply there. The other manager is also very curt.

Manager is bad and rude,disturbed our personal life. They want to check inside and ask us to sanitized....inside our apartment. We pay for our living, we need someone respect us even we make a mess in our living room because we don't have much time to clean but it's not affecting people outside.. .

My my brother lives in orchard Glen apartments in their heydays they were simply beautiful they are kept up and have a security gate but it's in a questionable neighborhood
